Glenn Skimming
President / Provinicial Liason
Glenn graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in
Kinesiology. His major was Adapted Physical Activity with a senior's specialization. He
has an avid interest in seeing seniors increase their over all physical strength.
He has worked with seniors in both Edmonton and Calgary.
He has worked with individuals with Dementia in Adult Day Support programs and in Long Term Care as a Recreation Therapist. He also has worked with low income seniors and is a strong advocate for the principle of Aging in Place and ethical treatment of those seniors with Dementia. Glenn currently works for a Seniors Assisted Living facility with a Designated
Assisted Living unit just outside of Calgary.
He blames his career choice on the very
strong relationship he had with his Grandmother and the positive role model
she was.
Jaryll Dunne
Past President
Jaryll has 28 years of experience in the corporate environment, finding her lifetime career as a Family Counselor in the Funeral and Cemetery industry. The last 10 years has been with working with families, at time of loss and before they required her services. Jaryll was able to take open another chapter of her life and became one of the founders and President of a new company - Planned Passing Inc.
Jaryll’s career moves have given her the opportunity to implement her skills and education in interpersonal communication aspects, motivational training of staff, team building practices as well as implementing unique leadership/management styles. As a Family Counselor, she has been able to inform and educate groups and families by the way of seminars or individual sessions on the aspect of life we all eventually deal with death. Now, with Planned Passing Inc, Jaryll will be utilizing her skills to assist the families, as well as the Funeral Homes in Alberta.
Jaryll’s interest in seniors and CC-AAG stems from watching her mother age gracefully. During this time it was important to Jaryll to know what services and facilities were available for her mother. This prompted Jaryll’s past years of experience with
CC-AAG and the Senior’s Resource Fair. She knows with the services now available and with other services becoming available, seniors can live a healthy, enhanced lifestyle, but they need information outlets to help them become aware and informed.
Jaryll’s belief in learning new things daily as well as sharing her knowledge has become one of her philosophies of life. Jaryll is a strong networker and has had the opportunity to present and inform many people she has met, new information or opportunities with the intent to enhance and simplify life. Jaryll continues to meet new people every day as well as learn new things every day. Her enthusiasm with life can sometimes be considered contagious.

Tiffany Hansen
Fundraising Committee
Tiffany was born on April 19, 1980 in Labrador City, Newfoundland. She was raised in a small fishing out port called English Harbour East. The same community her parents were raised in, and her grandparents were raised in.
In a small out port in Newfoundland, the community itself are the caregivers to the elderly. The elderly were a respected and important part of the village. The loss of every elderly person was like the loss of a member of one's own family. From a very early age she remembers wanting to be a caregiver.
In 2002 through 2003, Tiffany worked for Cronin's Senior Guest Home in St. John's Newfoundland as a caregiver providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene, meal preparation, laundry, and administration of medication. In 2003 through 2004, she worked for Serenity Nursing Home in St. John's Newfoundland providing assisted living and home care services.
In 2007 Tiffany moved to Alberta to begin upgrading her education at Mount Royal. In 2009 she completed the Funeral Directing and Embalming program at Mount Royal College. She is currently working as a Funeral Attendant at Pierson's Funeral Service.
It is currently Tiffany's desire to become more involved in the community through volunteer work. She is actively looking for involvement that will bring the same support to the elderly in a large city like Calgary, that she was part of in her home community of English Harbor East
