Another
mandate of CC-AAG is to provide educational and financial assistance
to those studying gerontology.
CC-AAG Scholarship Award
The
Calgary Chapter Association on Gerontology has established a
scholarship of $1,000 that is available annually. The
recipient will also receive their first years membership in
CC-AAG at no cost.
A
student applying for the CC-AAG Scholarship Award must meet
the following criteria:
- Lives in the
Calgary area
- Promotes the
interests of gerontology by demonstrating efforts to enhance
the lives of the aging population.
- Has completed
3 courses
- GPA of 3.2 or
higher
- Cannot be the
recipient of another scholarship that year
